Events with Nazareth Housing

November 24, 2009 Thanksgiving at FSC

On November 24, 2009 Nazareth Housing staff hosted 55 people at our annual Thanksgiving Party for transitional housing members and their families at our Family Services Center. We are grateful to local businesses such as Sarita's Macaroni & Cheese (S’MAC), 11B Express, Cafecito, and Soul Fixin’s who sponsored the special holiday side dishes such as macaroni & cheese, mixed green salad, mini empanadas, and cornbread. The Waldorf Astoria provided each family with a homemade pumpkin pie to take home. Special thanks go out to Heather Dubois, Sara Little, Pamela Guilgli, Theresa Traskoman, Meg Mazzeo, Ann Currier, Elaine Donlin and Juni Setiowati for the delicious treats, sides, and entrées for our gathering. Our very own Michael Callaghan, c.o. provided the wonderful turkey and roast beef. Lastly, a great big thank you to the volunteers from New York Cares who provided arts and crafts for the children throughout the holiday dinner!
