Events with Nazareth Housing

The Dedication Ceremonies and Reception of the new O'Toole Center of Nazareth Housing.

June 12, 2008 was proclaimed "Nazareth Housing Day" in the City of New York, by Mayor Michael Bloomberg. On this day, Nazareth Housing also celebrated the dedication of its renovated office space at 519 E 11th Street, now known as the O'Toole Center for Outreach and Administration. Celebrating with Board members, clients, staff and community representatives, proclamations were offered by the Mayor, as well as City Council Member Rosie Mendez and State Senator Martin Connor.

In 2008, Nazareth Housing was recognized by the New York City Department of Homeless Services as the leading over-all provider of family shelter services in the City in 2007.
